Asset Lead Vishwesh Taskar published some amazing renders and making-of images of his latest piece “Geralt of Rivia” on his Artstation.
It looks like he worked for a long time on this project. According to Vishwesh, he used Houdini and Renderman to create this photorealistic character.
Clearly he has a great eye for anatomy and lighting.
