Character Artist Robin-Julian S. Lee created his interpretation of The Pale King from Hollow Knight. This outstanding piece was meant to be just a sculpting practice, Robin-Julian states in his original post.
But eventually, he decided to take it further and complete the artwork to the rendering and compositing stages.

According to his original post, Robin-Julian created this piece using ZBrush, Blender, and Substance Painter to make the scene. Then he also used Marmoset and DaVinci Resolve.

This is amazing work. Remember to visit the original post to look at more images in high resolution and check out Robin-Julian S. Lee’s Artstation profile.
