Batman fans were given a quick look at the Caped Crusader’s latest movie directed by Matt Reeves. The footage was revealed during HBO Max’s DC FanDome event. And it looks like the Batman latest movie will be utilizing the same Virtual production technology that made The Mandalorian such a success.

For those unfamiliar, Virtual production technology allows filmmakers to create computer-generated environments in real-time, which means they can see what the final product will look like as they’re shooting it. This is a huge boon for directors, as it gives them much more control over the look of their films. It also allows for greater collaboration between the various departments involved in making a movie. So, it’s no surprise that Reeves decided to use this cutting-edge technology on his Bat-flick.
